O.J. Simpson should step away from the crack pipe!

We don’t know if he’s really on drugs or not, but “if he is” that would explain why he’d go on national TV and write a book called “If I Did It!”

In truth, if he did it, he should keep it to himself. Many Americans believe he got away with murder when he was not convicted of the 1994 slayings of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman.

He has really lost his damn mind! No matter how much money Fox TV and Judith Regan coughed up for this project, it’s a dumb-ass idea. The whole concept is in bad taste.

According to published reports, O.J. will not look into a TV camera lens later this month and explain how he would have committed the slayings “if he were the one responsible.” The show and book have been canned.

We can’t even imagine how a concept so ridiculous, outlandish, humiliating and downright awful came about. Judy Regan has stooped to an all-time low with this book. We would call O.J. and Judith Dumb and Dumber, but that’s too kind.

Even though the TV show and book deal has been cancelled, this dumb-namic duo has descended into the depths of disgust with this project. Just because Simpson was acquitted of the murders in 1995, America hasn’t forgotten the racial tension it ignited.

African-Americans secretly high-fived each other and cheered when the verdict was read. On some level we were happy that a man of O.J.'s caliber was given a break, even though we always believed that he knew who dunnit!

But some of us knew the acquittal and his freedom would never be enough for him to just quietly go away. In the months after his acquittal, O.J. couldn’t shut his mouth. He went on a media tour where he vowed to hunt down the real killers. Get real!

It’s been more than 10 years since his acquittal and O.J. hasn’t turned up the real killers yet. Instead he re-opens old and painful wounds for the victims' families, which include his own children. What father, in his right mind, would want his own flesh and blood to deal with the pain and agony of losing their mother, again? We think none! That’s why we believe O.J. is on crack or some kind of mind-altering drug.

Now, instead of pumping our fists in the air as a symbol of solidarity, African-Americans are in disbelief. We are standing around the water cooler and whispering to each other --- O.J. Simpson Has Lost His Damn Mind!
